CSS Rand

I was kind of confused when I first went to CSS Rand, because it just looked like some random nice website (not a gallery) then I figured it out… It’s a new kind of design gallery, where you just reload your page and it loads up a new page for you to look at. Kind of a neat idea.

Featured on...

Got some really exciting news. My site was on two daily web design portal sites. The two sites have a lot of great links to other well designed sites. This is the first time the sites been featured. The first site is called The Daily Slurp. According to them its "a daily list of beautiful sites." And because the site is featured there, it was also featured on Most Inspired.

Gettin' Busy

Just a quick update...I've been pretty busy. The whole freelance thing is starting to take off. Which is a major plus!

The current site I'm working on design was approved yesterday so I'm going to have one build by the end of the weekend. I'll post when its all finished.

And, I'm getting some great projects from my friends over at Visual Fusion. Thanks a lot for those!

Had a great meeting with a great new client last night. I'm gonna build him an great new website for his dream. Thanks a lot for meeting me and thanks for this great opportunity.

I know I just started this whole freelance thing, but its starting to grow and I'm really thrilled.

A little about...

Ok...so I thought I should put a little info about me in this thing. My name is Rich. I am a freelance web & print designer living and working in Wichita, Kansas. I currently work at a small design studio as a web designer. I do a little print design here and there at the current job, but mainly web. I'm in the exciting process of building a freelance business so I can get out and work for myself sometime in the near future (probably a lot farther off than I think).

My main design focus is with the web and interactive things. I know all the basics, i.e. html, css, java, flash and all the rest of that nerdy computer stuff. I work mainly with macs but am very fluent with the hell that is the pc world also.

Changes are good

Ok...got the basic look changes done. Still some tweaking to do, but shouldn't be that difficult. Let me know what you think of the site.
